China visa for Nigerians
- You need a visaNigeria isn't on China's visa-free or 240-hour visa-free transit lists, so apply before you travel.
- Canton Fair windowThe China Visa Application Service Center in Abuja said it would accept Canton Fair applications online from 7 September to 16 October 2026.
- Low embassy fees until year endThe embassy's reduced fees run to 31 December 2026: ₦10,500 single entry, ₦15,750 double, ₦21,000 six-month multiple, ₦31,500 one-year multiple. The visa centre adds its own service fee (₦36,800 for regular service in its 2025 notice).
- No fingerprints for short tripsApplicants staying up to 180 days are exempt from fingerprinting until 31 December 2026.

- Pre-register as a buyerRegister on the official Canton Fair buyer portal with your business details. Your registration can also support your visa application, and collecting your badge is faster.
- Apply for the China visaSubmit online with the China Visa Application Service Center (Abuja or Lagos). Wait for the embassy's approval email, then bring the printed certificate and your passport to the centre.
- Choose your phase and datesMatch the phase to your products. Arrive a day early to rest and collect your badge.
